Abstract

Dealing with the variation in retention time and time series is one of the most popular challenges in the field of analysing data obtained from biological experiments. In most cases, this problem can lead to invalid conclusions. This work aims to propose a new method to cope with this problem by using the principle of the transition from discrete to continuous entities. The experimental results have shown good performance of the proposed algorithm that has been applied on different types of time series data.
