Abstract

Line laser rotation scanning can obtain accurate full contour information of the object with non-destructive testing. The key point in this process is the calibration rotation center. The calibration of the rotation center is mainly obtained through the characteristics of circles. Existing calibration schemes lead to a holed or over-gathered result. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a rotation hybrid calibration method to calibrate the rotation center. First, the data used to fit the center of the circle is screened by the symmetrical method to meet the requirements and then the points that meet the requirements are simulated by the least square method circle center. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a higher stability and accuracy compared to existing calibration methods and the calibration accuracy can reach 0.029 mm.
