Abstract

Nickel-Zinc (Ni-Zn) ferrite (Ni1-xZnxFe2O4) with different Zinc composition (x = 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.0) were prepared and synthesized by applying sol-gel technique and the morphological characterization is done by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) to confirm the formation of Ni-Zn ferrite nanoparticle and estimate the particle sizes. Magnetic study was also performed using Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). Results showed that Zn composition when x = 0.5 possesses the highest magnetization which is 52.6 emu/g.
