In the research we used the simulator NS-3 with specific module for vehicular networks. The algorithms were implemented in C and were included in NS-3. The results, even in a simple scenario of VANET, show that it is possible to add protocol layer security services. We implement and compare three asymmetric algorithms (ECC, RSA and MQQ).
