The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm appears with very peculiar characteristics such as the heterogeneity of its physical and virtual components that must be integrated. Designing systems of this nature is a challenge and modeling using UML is consolidating itself as a resource to overcome this challenge. The objective of this work is to present some proposals for UML extensions already available in the literature, to represent IoT systems. Then, we present a case study with those models for representing a small energy monitoring system with artificial intelligence for power consumption forecast.}, journal = {American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences}, publisher = {Science Publications} }
