These will not only affect human but also affect how environment responds to the events. In this study, analyses of the trend change of 10 indices of Extreme Rainfall Events were carried in three stations of middle belt of Nigeria namely Jos, Lokoja and Makurdi using the RclimDex software. Daily rainfall data for the 3 stations were collected for the period of 1971 to 2005. The results from analyses of trend change of extreme rainfall indices depicted a sequence of alternating decrease and increase trends in the variables with a varying value due to population and size distribution for the study period.
