The importance of Remote Sensing Technique as an effective tool in mineral exploration and mineral mapping

Description

This special issue aims to provide an advanced forum for studies related to the importance of Remote Sensing Technique as an effective tool in geological mapping (lithological discrimination), structure geology and mineral exploration and mineral mapping. The entire geological field studies which confirm with the Remote Sensing data consider as combined tool that can apply in the mineral exploration and mineral mapping for sustainable development to specific target areas.

This special issue will provide the opportunity to bring together the scientists in the fields of earth sciences (geology, structure geology, mineral exploration and geochemical analyses) as well as Remote Sensing, geophysicists and others with interests overlapping with those areas mentioned above. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish geological and Remote Sensing applications in the way of mineral exploration with confirm of analytical techniques. Also publish the experimented, developed and designed different approaches of image processing useful in exploring the different minerals with special emphasis on their connection in as much detail as possible.

All the submitted papers must be dealt with such ideas (mineral exploration and mineral mapping by using different ways of Remote Sensing approaches).

This special issue will contain high-quality papers on current related topics written by world-leading experts in the area. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  1. General geology and Geochemistry
  2. Geophysical tools in geology and mineral exploration.
  3. Geological and geochemical exploration
  4. Remote Sensing applications in geology
  5. Remote Sensing applications in mineral exploration.
  6. Analytical techniques for mineral exploration.
