American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology is soliciting original research papers and review articles for a special issue on Exploiting receptor-ligand interactions; research and methods development. Understanding receptor action in the cell, ligand transport, binding interactions, structure activity relationships and the development of new therapeutic strategies rely on proven techniques. This special issue will be dedicated to the innovative and novel methods used to study the interactions as well as results of significance.
Articles on the following topics are strongly encouraged.
- New drugs that bind to known receptors
- Emerging receptor categories
- Novel receptor-ligand interactions
- Promising research on membrane-receptor binding and transport
- New methods to study protein-protein, DNA-protein, or other binding interactions.
- Novel detection systems
- Reviews on methods used to study receptor-ligand interactions
All the articles will undergo a rigorous peer review process and there will be no publishing fees and costs for published articles in this special issue.
