The dynamics of Intellectual Capital and the linkage to value creation


Description

This Special Issue on "The dynamics of Intellectual Capital and the linkage to value creation" aims to investigate how the Intellectual Capital management and reporting practices, both in the private and in the public sector, affect the value creation, focusing on conceptual models as well as on empirics of practice (surveys, cases, and experiences). Covered topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Investigation of IC at the level of ecosystem, communities and countries, as one of the last addressed fields for future research on IC;
  2. IC and innovation, in relation to the opposing perspectives of knowledge hiding and knowledge sharing, and of closed vs. open innovation;
  3. Theoretical, managerial and political implications of intangibles measurement and reporting in organizations, and in particular for the concept of value, with reference to private and public sector;
  4. IC and Corporate Social Responsibility;
  5. The role of human and social capital in the process of disseminating innovations of farms in rural areas.
