American Journal of Pharmacology and Toxicology publish research / review articles on drug action, more specifically, the interactions that occur between a living organism and exogenous chemicals that alter normal biochemical function, including neuropharmacology, renal pharmacology, human metabolism, intracellular metabolism, and intracellular regulation. Articles on drug composition and properties, interactions, toxicology, therapy, and medical applications and antipathogenic capabilities, studies of symptoms, mechanisms, treatments and detection of poisoning, especially the poisoning of people are also encouraged. AJPT is a quarterly, peer reviewed publication available, both in print and online and is an authentic source of information on Pharmacology and toxicology.
