The effect of pH and size experimental parameters has been investigated using a Batch adsorption technique. Adsorption data were modeled using Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. Adsorption kinetics was verified by pseudo-first order, pseudo-second order and intraparticle diffusion models. The kinetic adsorption data fitted the pseudo-second order kinetic model well and also followed the intraparticle diffusion model. The results indicated that IJS could be employed as low-cost biosorbent in wastewater treatment for the removal of CR.}, journal = {American Journal of Environmental Sciences}, publisher = {Science Publications} }
