Based on the preliminary study at PT. Darma Henwa, Site Asam-Asam Coal Project there were 126 cases of occupational accidents in 2012 and 22 cases of occupational accidents in 2013. Several studies have shown, do not apply standard operating procedure and low work motivation are cause of occupational accidents. This study aims to clarify the effect of application of standard operating procedure and work motivation to occupational accidents on employees hauling part. This research is observational analytic method with cross sectional design. The study population was all employees hauling part. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. Thus obtained 64 samples of the research. The research instrument use questionnaires. The results of research shows significant effect of application of standard operating procedure and work motivation to occupational accident. Company are expected to conduct strict monitoring of application of standard operating procedures by employees. Application of safety sharing or safety talk is expected to continue and improve safety behavior of employees.}, journal = {American Journal of Applied Sciences}, publisher = {Science Publications} }
